It seems like yesterday that he was sitting in the student desks of Gunter ISD. Now he sits in the BIG desk at Gunter Middle School, and we are so happy to have him back. Trey Carr is a forever Gunter Tiger!
Students in Mrs. Morrison's science class put their new Ford Scholar Greenhouse to use that was donated by Gunter graduate, Cassady Craddock. The students used it to put the steps of the scientific method into practice. Students planted grass seed and are testing the effects of the amount of sunlight on the grass. The greenhouse was perfect for this experiment and students will see results and draw conclusions within the next couple of weeks.

Bus Riders: The buses will leave the yard in the morning between 6:25 AM and 6:30 AM. They drop off at elementary at 7:10 AM. Please watch for your bus within that time frame. The times for each stop will vary for the first few days until the route becomes routine. By next week, you will have more of an idea of an exact time frame the bus will arrive at your stop.
For the afternoon routes, the first tier of elementary riders will leave the school at 3:15 PM. Please be looking for your elementary child beginning at 3:20 PM.

Gunter Middle School - First Day of School Procedures
Building opens at 7 AM. 5th/6th Grade report to cafeteria, 7th/8th Grade Boys Athletics report to the field house, 7th/8th Grade Girls report to the MS Foyer and Library.
Please note: Bus Registration is now closed. In order for us to complete a route schedule to accommodate our bus riders for the first day of school (tomorrow), we have to establish a route for the students who have registered already. We will publicize a schedule of the routes so you will have an idea of which bus your child will be riding soon.
You may still register your student for transportation, but we will not be able to add them to the first day pick up and drop off schedule. Once registered, allow 24 hours for the information to be processed and communicated with you. Thank you for your patience as we begin the 2021-22 school year!
Don't Forget! Meet the Teacher Night at GES and GMS on August 16th from 6-8 PM. Scheduled by LAST name (GES Schedule A-L 6-7PM and M-Z 7-8 PM) (GMS Schedule A-L 7-8 PM and M-Z 6-8 PM).
The schedule flip flops so that parents who have children at both campuses don't have to stress about getting it all done in an hour :)
