Notice! We have a few extra 22-23 yearbooks available for purchase on a first come first serve basis. The price is $42. This will be a cash or check purchase only. All checks need to be made out to GISD. Contact Mrs. Clement or the front office to purchase one.

The early release times for Homecoming (Friday, September 22) have been set. Middle and High School students will be released at 12:00 PM and Elementary students will be released at 12:20 PM. ** More HOCO details will be released as they are confirmed.
Attn: 7th and 8th grade football fans traveling to TCA Addison for tonight's games (9/7/23) ... there is no gate fee, but please be aware that the concessions are cashless.
Several changes to the football schedule for this week...
Thursday: 7th Grade football will play at 6 PM, 8th grade will follow shortly afterward. Friday: Varsity will play at 7:30 PM. TCS has made these changes due to the impending heat. Please see the updated graphic attached.

REMINDER: Gunter ISD will be closed in observance of Labor Day to celebrate the American Worker. Labor Day has been a national holiday since 1894, when President Grover Cleveland signed the law that Congress passed designating the first Monday in September a holiday for workers.

Construction is underway at the two south entrances of GHS. Safety remains our top priority, please exercise caution in this area when you are driving. We have been assured that both drives will be accessible at dismissal. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
New parents trying to fill out athletic paperwork in the RankOne sports system and cannot find your student listed, please be patient. We are working on getting the data synced from our student system. Your student's name will sync over soon. Please just keep trying each day.
Tomorrow is our FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL which means our buses are back on the roads and our kids may be on the sidewalks or sides of roads. Please PAY ATTENTION while you are driving. Pack your patience and show grace to others. We are all in this together :)

Are you in middle school and NEW to the district?? If so, tonight is YOUR night! Students who are new to Gunter ISD and are in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade are encouraged to come and meet the GMS leaders and learn about the campus policies.
