Your hard work, dedication, and commitment in both the classroom and athletics have truly paid off. Gunter is proud of you all for this outstanding achievement!

Camp RYLA District 5810 is a world class leadership program for rising seniors in the Dallas to Denison corridor.
RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Local Rotary Clubs award the RYLA distinction and send recipients to camp via full scholarship.
Preston Trails Rotary Club has been generously sending incoming seniors from Gunter ISD for years. This years RYLA recipients were Rhys Dainauski, Kynlee Chalker, Blake Hale, Harper Holmes, and Caleb Siler. These five students represented Gunter incredibly, learned so much, and are coming back ready to serve the school and community more powerfully than ever. Expect great things from these students!
Many Gunter/RYLA alumni have stayed active in the program. J Bailey (GHS class of 2013) serves as an assistant camp director, and this year Keely Ward (GHS class of 2020) was back on staff as a cabin counselor. Dalton Lee (GHS class of 2010), Gunter Coach Jeff Egger, and former GISD teacher Becca Egger were leaders on staff as well.

A huge thank you to Gunter Exxon for creating the Gunter Exxon STEM Scholarship and investing in the future of our students through their support of STEM education and academic excellence in Gunter ISD.
Congratulations to Jackson Mazey, the first recipient of this $1,000 scholarship! Jackson’s outstanding achievements in UIL Academics, dedication to STEM, and ability to successfully balance academics, work, college coursework, and extracurricular activities make him truly deserving of this honor.
We are incredibly grateful to Gunter Exxon for recognizing and supporting student success while encouraging the next generation of leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Congratulations to Karlee Beavers on being named the Texoma Chevy Dealers and KXII Overall A+ ATHLETE FEMALE OF THE YEAR!
Through her unwavering dedication in the classroom and her determination, grit, and excellence in competition, Karlee has earned this outstanding honor. Her commitment to success both academically and athletically is truly inspiring.
Well done, Karlee! We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to watching you continue to reach new heights in all your future endeavors. The standard you have set for yourself will undoubtedly continue to fuel your success for years to come.

ParentSquare Sports Groups: Don't Miss Summer Updates!
As summer activities get underway, we want to make sure families don't miss important information about our Summer Skills Sessions for high school and middle school sports.
Many of our coaches communicate directly through ParentSquare groups for their specific sports. To receive updates about summer skills sessions, schedules, and other opportunities, parents should join the ParentSquare groups that match their student's interests.
How to join a sports group in ParentSquare:
1. Log in to ParentSquare.
2. Select More on the bottom menu bar.
3. Select Groups.
4. Find the sports your student is interested in.
5. Join those groups to begin receiving updates from coaches.
This is especially important for incoming 7th-grade families and students who are new to middle school athletics, as many sport-specific communications are shared through these groups.
If your student is considering participating in multiple sports, we encourage you to join all relevant groups so you can stay informed about summer skills sessions and upcoming opportunities.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone connected and informed throughout the summer!
