The Gunter basketball program is committed to excellence on and off the court. Our players are expected to be the best they can be in every direction they turn.
Our annual goal is to hang another championship banner in our gym; but that is only the beginning. Our program is about equipping each young man with the spiritual foundation, character, confidence, mental toughness, and the competitive spirit to attack all the challenges the “real world” holds for them.
With a foundation of discipline and hard work, each man will respect his family, his community, and his school in a first-class fashion.
No one will ever be our superior in fight, determination, and ambition.

Why I Coach: I love sports. My dad was a HS Football coach for over 35 years, so I grew up in a Field House surrounded by Teachers/Coaches. Coaching allows me to stay around the game and still be involved, while providing me with the unique opportunity to have a significant positive impact on others. There's nothing better than helping our kids improve and reach the goals that they have set out for themselves.
