Just a reminder that Monday, October 9th is a scheduled holiday on the GISD school calendar in observance of Columbus/Indigenous People's Day.

AFTER THE PARADE INFO - All floats will turn right onto Kerfoot Drive and then into the GHS parking lot. They will follow Stadium Drive (stopping to unload passengers) and exit on Tiger Lane. HS and MS students will be picked up by the parents in the front high school parking lot. (see map)-ES students will be picked up by the parents in the middle school parking lot. (see map)

GES will Dismiss at 12:20 | GMS/GHS will Dismiss at 12:00
GMS will begin tomorrow without internet or school phones. We are hoping to have repairs made by end of school tomorrow.

We have had some great dress up days so far this week for Homecoming! Don't forget about the Tailgate and Pep Rally tonight starting at 6 PM in the GMS/Baseball parking lot.

The fiber line to the middle school building has been cut. We are working to get it repaired, but at this time we do not have an estimate on when it will be fixed.
The fiber provides internet and phone services to the building, so please understand that the school cannot receive or make calls. They also will not be able to respond to any emails until the line is repaired.

Notice! We have a few extra 22-23 yearbooks available for purchase on a first come first serve basis. The price is $42. This will be a cash or check purchase only. All checks need to be made out to GISD. Contact Mrs. Clement or the front office to purchase one.
