Gunter ISD is excited to welcome Walker Wharton as a new Agriculture Teacher at Gunter High School!
Mr. Wharton brings six years of teaching experience to Gunter, having previously taught for three years at North Hopkins ISD and two years at Denison ISD. He attended Frank Phillips College and Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he played collegiate baseball before earning his bachelor's degree in Animal Science.
Walker and his wife, Madison, have been married for three years and are proud parents to their 10-month-old son, Wagner.
We are excited to have Mr. Wharton join the Gunter Tiger family and look forward to the knowledge, leadership, and enthusiasm he will bring to our Agriculture program.
