Gunter ISD is excited to welcome Melissa Ringel to GES as the Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
Mrs. Ringel brings nearly 30 years of elementary music experience and has spent many years building a highly respected music program and inspiring students through performance, creativity, and music literacy. With her family now living in Celina, we are incredibly fortunate that she is bringing her talents and passion to Gunter.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Ringel has directed multiple honor choirs selected to perform at the state level and has been named Campus Teacher of the Year twice. She is known for creating opportunities for students to shine on stage, grow in confidence, and develop a lifelong love of music.
We are excited about the experience, leadership, and heart she will bring to our students and our community. The future of music at Gunter Elementary is in very good hands.
