Gunter ISD is excited to welcome Michael Tucker as a new High School Math Teacher!
Mr. Tucker brings 15 years of experience in education, beginning his career in 2010 at Hebron High School where he coached football and track while teaching math. Since 2015, he has continued coaching football and teaching math at Celina High School, where he has dedicated himself to helping students grow academically and reach their full potential.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University and went on to complete his Master’s degree at the University of North Texas.
Mr. Tucker is married to his wife, Shelly, and together they have three children: Jayden (22), Landon (9), and JoJo (7).
He shared that he is excited to join Gunter ISD because he has a strong desire to serve the community he calls home. He looks forward to working with the incredible students and families here and is grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a special place.
