The new faculty stepped into their role as a Gunter ISD faculty member today at New Teacher Orientation. To make the transition from summer break back to the world of work, our administration team donned some festive Hawaiian threads 
The teachers are here today and tomorrow to learn how to be a Gunter Tiger. They will learn the policies and procedures for equipment and other things in the district, be introduced to the instructional expectations, participate in a scavenger hunt, and tour G-Town while riding on one of our school buses.
Just in case it doesn't get mentioned during training, we want all of our newbies to know that Gunter is pronounced without the T. Once you master that pronunciation and soak in all the information in this two day adventure, you will be a "Real Gunter Tiger"!
