(REGISTRATION FOR NEXT YEAR) 2026-27 Bus Registration will be available in ParentPortal during student registration.

IMPORTANT DATES for 26-27 bus registration…

Registration to ride the bus for the 26/27 school year opened on 3/11/2026.
Deadline to register to ride the 1 st week of school (August 10th – 13th) will be Thursday, July 30th. Please
make sure that you register you child to ride the bus between 03/11/26 – 07/30/26 in order to be eligible
to ride the 1 st week of school.
Deadline to register to ride the 2nd week of school (8/17/26-08/20/26) will be Tuesday, August 11th.

STUDENTS THAT ARE NOT REGISTERED TO RIDE THE BUS BEFORE THE ABOVE DEADLINE DATES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO RIDE THE BUS UNTIL MONDAY, AUGUST 24 th.

Even if your child was registered to ride the bus during the 25/26 school year they MUST be registered
each year to ride the bus. Our bus routes will change each year.
Registering your child for school DOES NOT register them to ride the school bus. Bus registration is
completely separate. Please register your child to ride the bus through the Gunter ISD Transportation link
at the top of this page.
We route students by the information you provide. If you only register for the AM route, they will only be
eligible to ride the AM route. Please make sure you register them for both routes if you need them to ride
the bus to and from school.
If you need to update your child’s address, add them to an AM or PM route, or any other route changes
you MUST fill out a new bus registration form.

Nicole has been with Gunter ISD since 2018. She has driven routes for Aubrey ISD, Prosper ISD and Tom Bean ISD.

Thanks to all of our awesome bus drivers who deliver the most precious cargo to school and back home again.

Robby Aultman

Mr. Aultman is a proud Air Force veteran and airline mechanic/aircraft maintenance manager. He and his wife live in Gunter along with their three children and grandchildren. Not only does he drive a route for us, he uses his mechanic training to help keep our fleet in good condition.

Steve Grzywacz

Mr. Grzywacz joined our bus driving team in 2024. He has 6 children and 6 grandchildren. His passion is faith, family and cooking.

Trevor Hardin

Mr. Hardin is a retired baseball player who now works for BSN Sports and drives the big yellow buses for Gunter ISD. His wife is the art teacher at the high school, and together, they have 3 children. They run a small farm on the south side of town, which is a labor of love.

Nick Lorusso

Mr. Larusso has lived in Gunter since 2012. When he is not driving a bus, he works from home.

He has two sons in the district, and enjoys golfing, fishing, and campfires. Like many of us, he is a die-hard Cowboys fan, and finds it amusing that the Gunter Tigers seem to have more championship victories in the Cowboy stadium than the Cowboys :)

Mark Neely

Mr. Neely is a retired coach/teacher. He began teaching and coaching at Gunter in 1999 and retired in 2016. He taught History, and coached football, basketball and track. His very last football game to coach was the 2016 State Championship game where the Tigers won their 1st State Championship at the Cowboy stadium.

Ken Thorne

Mr. Thorne is a retired teacher/coach. He has lived in Gunter since 2019 with his wife, Cheryl. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2024!
