Mission

The mission of the Gunter ISD Police Department is not only to accept the responsibility for the safety of all students and staff but to build the type of relationships that will lead us into the future as one organization with the same purpose. Providing our administration with the highest level of professionalism, ethical standards and commitment allows us the ability to prepare our students for the challenges of the future.

Core Values

DO THE RIGHT THING

Members of the Gunter ISD Police Department understand that to "Do The Right Thing" covers many values that get us through life (Honesty, Integrity, Respect). If followed, this simple way of thinking holds us all to the highest standards.

DO YOUR BEST

This position is not a job, but a role we have all accepted to do our part in paving the way for our youth. Through the values of Leadership, Commitment and Professionalism, we shall be examples for all to follow. We recognize that our success is dependent upon the trust and confidence of the administration, staff and community.

TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED

As we move forward with the future of the Gunter ISD Police Department and Gunter Independent School District, this is key. We are a team, and we are ONE! For us to be successful, we have to coincide in a way where administration, staff, students and community are a family! As this is accomplished, the Gunter Independent School District will be the leader and one to follow!
