Earning the Purple Star designation is a significant accomplishment and recognizes our schools’ commitment to supporting the unique needs of military-connected students and their families.
As Purple Star Campuses, GES and GMS are equipped to provide:

who help support military-connected families during transitions.

tailored to the unique experiences and challenges of military life.

that honors, recognizes, and celebrates our service members and their children.
This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our Gunter Elementary and Gunter Middle School staff, who are committed to making sure every military-connected student and family feels welcomed, supported, and valued.
