Sixth grade scientists in Mrs. Morrison's lab tested minerals’ physical
properties to try and identify unknown minerals. Some of the properties
that students tested and observed were color, luster, hardness, streak,
and magnetism. The students then used a mineral identification chart to
compare the properties in order to identify their minerals. We might
have some future mineralogists!
