Christi Grayard is our lone Academic UIL competitor competing in Regionals at Tyler Junior College today! She took 1st place in Calculator Applications at District and will now compete against all the other 3A schools in our region.
Calculator Applications is a rigorous test where contestants solve 70 problems in 30 minutes. They are graded on speed and accuracy. Most of the content is not covered in the high school curriculum, so Christi has done a lot of extra learning and any hours of practice outside of school time.
