Veterans at assembly

The Veterans Day Celebration at Gunter ISD is not "just another assembly". We take pride in reminding our students of the sacrifices our veterans have made (or are making) to keep our country safe and protect our freedoms. We enjoyed musical selections from the 3rd grade and the GHS/GMS Band and Choir. A medley of the Branches of the Armed Services anthems was played one by one as the military members stood while their anthem played (a favorite tradition for many at this ceremony) and each Veteran was mentioned during the Call of Service. I think the title of the 3rd Grade musical performance, "We Honor You" sums up our ceremony the best! Thank you, Veterans, for coming to our school and letting us honor YOU!

Videos below will show you a summary, as well as, full length videos of moments to precious to shorten into the summary :)
