International Dot Day is celebrated every year on September 15th, and our elementary school joined in! This holiday was created by a teacher named Terry Shay back in 2009 after reading a children's book called 'The Dot', which is written by Peter H. Reynolds. The book challenges readers to trust in their own ability and to make a mark on the world using their own creativity, bravery, original ideas and sharing.

Pictured is Mrs. Smith's class collaborating with each other using only dots and paper to build the tallest tower.

* Our GES Cafeteria team also got in on the fun to make their MARK on the world (which they do every single day).
