Market Days collage

It felt like Canton Trades Days, but really, I had entered the 2nd Grade Market! The students had been working extra hard creating their market and items to sell, and they finally got to set up shop.

Money in hand, I walked in and found so many things to purchase! From goods and services to snacks and beverages, we had bracelets, masks, massages, nail painting, cookies, tea, and so much more! The imagination of these 2nd graders was remarkable! Students in grades K-4 had been earning money in their own classrooms to spend at the market. For each sale, the 2nd grader had to collect the money, make change, and mark their inventory as being sold.

Everyone who entered the market came out with a Zip-loc bag full of great purchases. Great job, 2nd grade!
