I am a lifelong north Texas residence. 

Most of my family and friends live in the north Texas area. 

I graduated from Aubrey ISD in 1989, UNT in 1994, and Lamar University in 2011.

I received my Master's in Education and Principal Certification from Lamar University.

I married my high school sweetheart, Angela Ivy in 1991.  She is The Director of Headstart Programs in Denton ISD. 

We have four children, twins KyLee and RyLee (25), Ty (23), and Ivy (18). 

We are very excited to be a part of the Gunter Tiger Nation --- TPW!

Grading Policy

CLASSROOM LATE WORK POLICY:

One day = 10 points subtracted from the graded assignment.

Two days = 20 points subtracted from the graded assignment.

Three days = 30 points subtracted from the graded assignment.

Last chance round-up will result in a maximum grade of 50 for the graded assignment.

 CLASSROOM MAKE-UP POLICY:

 All students will have an opportunity to make up work from an excused absence.  The student will have the same number of days missed plus one to make up for any missing work. 

 CLASSROOM CHEATING/PLAGIARISM POLICY:

 Any student who plagiarizes or cheats on any assignment or helps another student cheat will receive a zero on that assignment plus disciplinary action.

 CLASSROOM FAILED TEST POLICY:

Any student who has failed a test will be allowed to do test corrections. Test corrections includes handwriting every missed question on the test in sentence form 10 times each. There will be a deadline given to turn in test corrections.  The maximum grade given for completing test corrections is a 70.
