Gunter High School

I am so excited to be a Gunter Tiger!

My family and I have lived here since 2015, and I am happy to be serving the students at Gunter High School. I grew up in Richardson where I also began my teaching career. I have taught AP Physics for the last 13 years, served in several roles with the College Board for the last 8 years. I look forward to building and growing the AP Physics and AP Calculus programs here at GHS!

My classroom is a place for deep conceptual learning. We will use a variety of learning strategies such as Physics Modeling, online virtual labs (simulations), in-person labs, and group discussions/presentations of findings. Expectations of the student are to keep your class materials, be on time, be actively engaged in learning, and always ask questions. That is what science and mathematics are all about!
