In the spirit of giving, right before Thanksgiving, our elementary hosted a
LovePacs Thanksgiving Box Packing Day using the food collected during a
food drive. Students decorated the boxes to give to families in need.

Once they finished the project, they had a small celebration to acknowledge their success. The book, Maddi's Fridge, had a part about Cheesy Pizza Bombs. When Mrs. Martindale talked to Christina Zielinski at North Side Pie about the possibility of them making some for our first graders to celebrate the work they did on collecting and boxing up food., she was excited and jumped right in and figured out how to make the yummy goodness for our kids!  North Side Pie made about 300 Cheesy Pizza Bombs and DONATED them to our first graders. Thank you so much, North Side Pie!

If you happen to see "Cheesy Pizza Bombs" on their menu in the future, you can thank a 1st grader for providing the inspiration!
