GHS students Hayden Fox, Alyssa Tarpley, Kamber Puebla, and Jake Schafer met with GISD Superintendent, Mr. Martindale this afternoon to show him around their campus. The tour of the campus gave them a nice amount of time to talk as they walked. The students weren’t shy about bragging on their favorite teachers and coaches. When Mr. Martindale asked for some special tips, they were quick to tell him to come to school hungry on the day Thanksgiving lunch was served!

The heat didn’t stop the students from taking Mr. Martindale to the facilities outside the campus. With a softball player giving the tour, the softball field was a definite stop along the way. After touring inside and outside, Mr. Martindale asked the students what they liked about Gunter High School, and if you read our previous post about his middle school tour, you won’t be surprised at what they said… they like the small-town atmosphere where everyone knows everyone, and they love how all of the students support each other.

Thank you, Hayden, Alyssa, Kamber, and Jake for taking time out of your afternoon to acclimate our new superintendent to the Gunter High School campus!
