Gunter ISD is excited to announce the Teachers of the Year for the 2022-23 school year.

Gunter Elementary School: This year's recipient has served many roles at GES over several years. She has served as a classroom teacher, the Pre-K lead teacher, and most recently stepped up to help students succeed as the GES Interventionist. Gunter Elementary School students are lucky to have her in their corner, cheering them on and helping them learn.  Congratulations to Mrs. Amy Reed who was selected by her peers for this prestigious award! Mrs. Reed has chosen to retire at the end of this year, and we will miss her greatly!

Gunter Middle School: Steve Fletcher has served Gunter ISD for 21 years. His colleagues describe him as loyal, Godly, committed, passionate, and conscientious. Staff and students alike see Mr. Fletcher as a role model of the highest character. It is an honor to bestow Steve Fletcher as Gunter Middle School Teacher of the Year!

Gunter High School: This year's recipient is one of our English teachers. She is always smiling and is very patient with her students. She is an extraordinary teacher who expects her students to work hard in her classroom. Gunter High School students are lucky to have her as a teacher, and we are certainly lucky to have her as a faculty member.  Congratulations to Mrs. Christina Aleman who was selected by her peers for this prestigious award!
