Welcome to AP Calculus!
Thank you for visiting my website. Communicating with parents is an important goal for GHS and we are trying to use every possible avenue to reach every parent. With that in mind I began posting daily assignments, test and quiz dates, and other useful information on my website a couple of years ago. Students now can access their assignments when they are absent. When possible, I will also post printable worksheets.
This will be my seventh year at GHS. I have been married to Bruce Hindman for 31 years and I have two grown children. Bridget is 24 and is attending graduate school at West Virginia University, and Brad is 21 and a senior at Texas A&M. Go Mountaineers and Gig 'em Aggies!
Teaching is my third career you might say. I started off in the secretarial field and then became a stay-at-home mom for many years while working a little part-time. I began substitute teaching after my children started school and fell in love with being in the classroom. I returned to college in 2002 and graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in Mathemathics for Secondary Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I taught for a semester in Bonham before coming to Gunter. I have taught or subbed in Midlothian, Tom Bean, Commerce, and Bonham and I have to say Gunter has the best students and the best schools I have seen.
