I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce with a bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading. I went back to Texas A&M-Commerce and finished certification work for school librarians in 2006. I have taught preschool, first grade, and college reading.
I am married to Wesley and we have 2 sons, Ethan and Isaac. Ethan and Isaac both attend the University of Texas at Arlington. I teach 1st & 2nd grade Sunday School, am Commander of AWANAs, am Vacation Bible School Director, and I like to read, read, read.
This is my third year at Gunter ISD and I am loving it. I am the coordinator for all three libraries in the district, elementary, middle school and high school. But my home base is at the High School. Please feel free to come by the high school library and talk books.
