I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce with a bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading. I went back to Texas A&M-Commerce and finished certification work for school librarians in 2006. I have taught first grade, preschool, and college reading.
I am married to Wesley and we have 2 teenage sons, Ethan and Isaac. They attend Ector High School. I teach Sunday School, attend Ector sporting events, and read, read, read.
This is my first year at Gunter ISD and I am loving it. I am the coordinator for all three libraries in the district, elementary, middle school and high school. But my home base is at the Middle School. Please feel free to come by the middle school library and meet me.
