Senior Meetings:
Mrs. Hogan will begin Senior Meetings On October 1st. Arrangements for Senior meetings will be made through your English teacher. If you are in Dual Credit English, it is your responsibility to make an appointment that works best for your schedule.
Please bring a 3 ring binder (labeled with your name) and place it in the box outside of Mrs. Hogan’s office ASAP.
If you are planning on going to a 4 year college in Texas, you need to go to your prospective college’s website for admission requirements and application instructions. If you need assistance prior to your scheduled meeting, drop by Mrs. Hogan’s office and make an appointment.
PSAT Registration:
PSAT registration will continue until October 1st in the counselor’s office. Cost is $13- checks to GHS
PSAT was developed as a practice test for the SAT and is a qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The PSAT is a junior level test, and serves only as a practice test for younger grades.
AP Testing:
AP tests are given in May. Registration is done through the main office at the high school. The exact dates and costs will be posted at a later time.
