Wrestling: Gunter Independent School District

This upcoming wrestling season the Gunter wrestling program will only be participating on the Junior Varsity level. Due to the number of athletes and age and experience of the wrestlers this will be our best opportunity to compete and have success. We also hope that this will help build the program and get more athletes interested.

This season we have a total of 17 wrestlers. 15 freshmen 1 sophmore and 1 junior. Our first meet will Friday January 20 at Frisco Heritage. We will finish our short season at Mckinney two weeks before district which will be held at Carrolton Creekview.
