GIFT, the Gunter ISD Education Foundation, is a public non-profit foundation which relies upon corporate and private donations for its funding. We are a volunteer organization, and all of our funds are directed toward educational programs. Funding priorities include both need and merit-based scholarships, innovative campus teaching grants, a permanent endowment fund, and fellowships for staff professional growth and development.

GIFT provides grants to teachers and campuses in the district and educational scholarships to deserving students and teachers. Since its creation, GIFT has distributed over $200,000 in scholarships to area students and over $100,000 in grants to GISD teachers and schools. In addition, GIFT has donated over $40,000 to the Kerfoot Trust.
