Important Announcements:

GHS will be giving the PSAT/NMSQT on October 15th at 8:00 a.m.
Registration has begun and will continue until October 13th. The test is open to all interested 9th - 11th graders. The cost is $13 (make checks payable to GHS). If your student is interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT, please have them bring $13 to Mrs. Hogan's office to register and to pick up a PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide.

The PSAT/NMSQT lets students:
1. Assess their critical reading, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills.

2. Get specific suggestions on how to improve their academic skills.

3. Prepare for the SAT with a personalized study plan.

4. Enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation competitions and scholarships (11th grade only)

5. Request information from colleges and universities

6. Use My college QuickStart to access free resources and information about college and career planning.

Again, interested students will need to bring $13 to Mrs. Hogan no later than October 13th to register.

K12 Planet Passwords are ready to be picked up.
Parents: You may pick up your username and password to access your child's grades from K12 Planet. You will have to physically come to the school to sign the agreement in order to obtain your username and password. Parents who have already received a password in previous years should still be able to access the system with that password. If you have already signed our agreement, but forgot your information, you may contact Jenifer Johnson at jjohnso@gunterisd.org.
