Most all important information will be posted directly on to this homepage. There are web pages for each grade which may have some grade specific information. If we send a form home with the students, this website will also have the form available for viewing under the "Forms" link on the left side of the page. There are also "Podcasts" that may be periodically updated with sound clips of various things.
Parents are ORGANIZING!!!
We are trying to organize the parents of Gunter Tiger Band students into the Gunter Tiger Band Fans! Tina Purdom has volunteered to lead this group. The first meeting of the Band Fans will be this coming Monday, September 1st (labor day) at 8:00 pm. This is during the last 30 minutes of the 6:00-8:30 Monday Night Band Practice. The items to be discussed include band parent t-shirts, window decals, signs for band fans, feeding the band kids at away games, and chaperones for bus rides.
PARENT MEETING!!!
Monday, September 8th, the High School will be having their "Open House," starting at 5:45 pm. The plan is for the students to follow their schedules for about an 11 minute period of time for each of their teachers to meet the parents and go over their classroom rules and expectations, etc. I feel the need to have a meeting involving the parents about the Disney World Trip. I'd like to hold that meeting on the open house evening starting at 5:30 pm and lasting until the "1st Period" of open house is over. We are still hoping to make the trip happen, and we need about 7 more students to commit to going, and about 4 adults to make it happen. Please make plans to attend! Thanks!
